Maryland would extend the lead to 7 as Nebraska committed a couple more turnovers, which Maryland converted into 6 total points. Maryland, who is known for its rebounding prowess, was held in check for a large portion of the half. The Huskers decided to take care of the basketball, and it paid dividends as Andrew Morgan would score 12 points off the bench to tie the game at the under 8 timeout.
