This one started off as a bit of a guard battle. Brice Williams scored 5 of Nebraska’s first 7 points, while Demarco Minor had 6 of the Beavers first 9. Oregon State dominated on the glass early, recording 3 offensive rebounds on the same possession, but didn’t score on the trip. Nebraska took the lead not to long after that after Juwan Gary joined the scoring party, as he and Williams combined for the first 13 Husker points. Oregon State continued with its rebounding prowess, at one point doubling up Nebraska, which translated into a 4 point Beaver lead just beyond the halfway mark.
