Nebraska would then immediately go on its second scoring drought of over 2 minutes and 30 seconds, and the Buckeyes would take a double-digit lead. Nebraska was getting outrebounded 7-2 early, as they were getting beat on both ends of the floor on the glass. Nebraska would start to play better defense, closing the lead down to 4 with just under 8 minutes left.
