Nebraska MBB Recap: A Golden Gopher Dagger Sinks Huskers 67-65

Nebraska needed a good start, and it didn’t happen. Braxton Meah had plenty of opportunities to get the ball rolling, but with Minnesota employing a “Maul-A-Meah” early, he went 1-6 from the free-throw line. That set the table for what ultimately was not a good half for the Huskers. Minnesota uses a 7-0 run to open a 7 point lead, but Nebraska would make things close by hitting 4 straight field goals. The Gopher bench would play a big part in the half, as Femi Odukale had 8 points early on. Both teams would go on a 3+ minute scoring drought.
