The Nebraska Men’s Basketball team comes into this season picked to finish 12th in the B1G conference this season. Last season was an amazing run by the Huskers, who were slated to finish 13th but ended up in 4th place, earning themselves an NCAA Tournament bid for just the second time this century. Nebraska earned an 8 seed in the NCAA Tournament, only to be ousted by the 9 seed in Texas A&M (yes, the same one Trev Alberts had just left for the previous week). Nebraska loses sharp-shooting stalwart Keisei Tominaga, as well as big-energy Josiah Allick. The Huskers lose another key figure in big man Rienk Mast for the season as he underwent surgery to repair the knee that was ailing him most of last year.
