Lincoln, Neb.- The Nebraska football team practiced for a little more than an hour without pads in the Hawks Championship Center on Thursday in preparation for Saturday's game against Rutgers.
Coach Riley started by adressing the media with injury updates. Running Terrell Newby will travel along with receivers Stanley Morgan Jr. and Alonzo Moore and Riley expects all three will be ready to go.
Riley also commented on the status of a couple Blackshirt defenders.
"We hope we can get 15 to 20 plays out of Kevin Williams and Michael Rose-Ivey." Riley said.
He also stated that Kevin Williams has been granted an appeal for a sixth year of eligibility from the NCAA, allowing Williams to compete in 2016.
