The holiday cheer continued for the Nebraska Cornhuskers with the addition of Dane Key from Kentucky who followed his position coach Daikiel Shorts to the land of corn. Key is a big-bodied receiver at 6-3 210lbs and some awe-inspiring numbers at Kentucky considering their struggles in the SEC. He had 751 receiving yards off 47 catches this past season which is impressive considering the talent in the SEC.
Dana Holgorsen and Dylan Raiola will be licking their lips at the prospect of scheming up plays for Key on the outside with one-on-one coverage. The downfield threat this past season was a bone of contention for the Husker faithful and this addition will go a long way to help remedy the lack of explosive plays.
