Nebraska added to the feel-good atmosphere in the program with the pickup of athlete Dveyoun Bonwell-Witte (6-2/190) from Sioux Falls, SD. Heading into the bye week with an impressive 5-1 record they added a fascinating piece to the 2026 class projected to play on the offensive side of the ball with wide receivers coach, Garret McGuire putting in the hard yards to land him.
Bonwell-Witte is the second-rated player in South Dakota and was recruited by Oklahoma, Minnesota, Kansas State, and Wisconsin. He has great size and length for a wide receiver, which the Nebraska wide receivers’ core enjoys.
