Nebraska landed the biggest of the bigs with the transfer addition of offensive lineman Rocco Spindler (6-5/325lbs) from the Notre Dame line that played for the National Championship this past season. Spindler started in 23 games at guard over the past two seasons for the much-vaunted Fighting Irish team that has been quietly impressing with its solid line play. He will have one year of eligibility for the Huskers.

Nebraska had been in the market for another tackle after adding Elijah Pritchett from Alabama. Still, Spindler at guard could be the missing piece to the puzzle for Donovan Raiola’s unit.
