Columbia, Mo. --- After dropping the first two games of the weekend, the Nebraska softball team responded in a big way on Sunday morning, knocking off No. 21/23 Missouri in a 10-2 victory. The Huskers picked up the win in a dramatic fashion, finishing the Tigers in just five innings due to the mercy rule. The victory marks NU's first win of the season over a ranked foe.
Lindsey Walljasper pitched 4.0 innings and improved to 4-3 on the season. Walljasper allowed just two runs on three hits and had six strikeouts. At the plate, Walljasper had two hits with three RBIs and a homer.
