After scoring two runs in the first inning yesterday, the Nebraska bats went silent. Today the Huskers have a chance to get the foul taste of losing out of their mouth as they go for the series victory at Drayton McLane Stadium against Michigan State.
Nebraska will send Jake Meyers to the mound in his sixth start of the season. Meyers was brilliant last weekend at Rutgers, not allowing a hit until the sixth inning. If Meyers can keep the Spartans off balance, he will at least give Nebraska a chance to scratch a couple of runs across.
