Lincoln, Neb.- The Nebraska football team practiced for just over an hour without pads in the Hawks Championship Center on Thursday in preparation for Saturday's game against Northwestern.
Coach Mike Riley first addressed injuries. Players that will not play Saturday include Luke Gifford, Chris Weber, David Knevel, Kevin Williams and Kevin Maurice. The players returning from injury include Freedom Akinmoladun, Michael Rose-Ivey, Nick Gates, Daniel Davie and David Sutton.
Coach Riley also touched on two things that the team wants to do well on Saturday.
"I think that if we can continue a little bit of the recipe that we had last weekend which was a good, clean football game.
