Nebraska Gains Ground, Defeats Northwestern, 4-2

Austin Darby came through when it counted most, driving in the winning run with a bases loaded single in the fifth. Chance Sinclair and the bullpen would shut down the Wildcats the rest of the way, as the Huskers gained ground in the BIG standings by defeating Northwestern 4-2.

Nebraska would take an early lead to begin the game. Nebraska would attack Brandon Magallones in the first as three Huskers would gather base hits. Blake Headley would double down the third base line and would move to third on a Ben Miller infield hit.
