On Monday, Nebraska Football had one final scholarship to handout in order to meet its 85-man roster quota. The final recipient was extremely deserving. Running back Wyatt Mazour was the recipient, and he certainly deserves it after his performance this season.
Given the initial depth at the running back position, he hasn’t really received a ton of opportunities. However, now that some spots have opened up at the position, he is making the most of them. On the season, he has recorded nine rushes for 41 yards in seven games. He also has two catches for 23 yards, and he has proven to be a solid kick returner, receiving three kicks for 58 yards.
