On Monday, there was possible good news and a little bit of eye-brow raising news surrounding the Nebraska football team. The good news is that while he didn’t practice on Monday, Scott Frost and the rest of the staff believes there is a chance Adrian Martinez could play on Saturday against Troy.
Frost said the early results indicate Martinez doesn’t have any damage to the ligament. That tracks with a photo that was taken on Sunday.
At a “Husker Heroes” event, Martinez was noted to be walking in a way that slightly favored the knee, but without the aid of crutches or even a brace.
