It appears that some more depth is coming to the Nebraska Football running back position, and thankfully, it comes from in-house. Freshman running back Ronald Thompkins was added to the Nebraska Football camp roster. The addition occurred on Tuesday.
As some of you may recall, Thompkins has been dealing with some injuries. Now, it appears that he is working his way back from it.
According to a report by the Lincoln Journal Star, Thompkins was on the practice field Tuesday. He was wearing no pads, and he had a green noncontact jersey. Per the rules, Thompkins must go two days with no pads on and another two days in helmet shells before he can take part in the practices with pads.
