Armstrong had a record-setting moment yesterday with the second passing touchdown he had during the match up against Wyoming. This pass allowed him to break the previous school record of 56 career touchdown passes held by Taylor Martinez.
The 9-yard pass to Jordan Westerkamp in the fourth quarter allowed Tommy to be added to the history of the Nebraska Football program. Armstrong also threw for two other touchdown passes during the game, a 63-yard pass to Alonzo Moore in the second quarter and a 34-yard touchdown to Westerkamp in the third quarter.
As a student attending the game, I can attest to just how amazing some of these plays were.
