Nebraska football has been busy offering top prospects, and Wednesday, they extended an offer to 2022 four-star quarterback Ty Simpson.
Simpson is not ranked in the 247Sports Composite Rankings, but he is ranked in the 247Sports overall rankings. He has a 93 overall numerical rating, and is the third overall dual-threat quarterback in his class. He is the top player in the state of Tennessee.
As is the case with most of these top prospects, Nebraska football is not the only one fighting for Simpson. Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, and Georgia are just some of the schools extending offers his way.
