Over the weekend, Nebraska football was announced to be in the top three for a 2021 receiver. Keegan Johnson, who hails from Bellevue, Nebraska, announced his top three of Iowa, Kansas State, and Nebraska.
Johnson is ranked the second overall player in the state of Nebraska per the 247Sports Composite Rankings. It is great to see that the program is in the mix for a talented player right in their backyard. Head coach Scott Frost has done a nice job of trying to build a proverbial fence around Nebraska. There is a ton of talent around the area, and it’s great to see that the program wants to fill the roster with as many Nebraska-bred players as possible.
