The Football Writers Association of American released their 75th Anniversary All-American team on Thursday morning.
The Nebraska Cornhuskers are well represented, placing 6 total players across the three teams on Offense, Defense, and Special Teams. That is more than any other school. That helped the Big Ten Conference place the most on the FWAA's team as well with 19 total players.
Three Husker linemen are featured on the FWAA's first team, as Will Shields and Dave Rimington make the Offense. Ndamukong Suh is on the Defensive side of the ball while Heisman Trophy winner Johnny "The Jet" Rodgers is the First Team Punt Returner.
