When Willie Hampton committed to Trent Bray and the Nebraska Cornhuskers all the way back on March 9th, many people thought that his recruitment would blow up, but that didn’t end up being the case. He has sent his Letter of Intent into Lincoln, and will be a member of the team this coming Fall.

Hampton, who hails from West Palm Beach, Florida, transferred to American Heritage High School last season. He is ranked by the 247Sports composite as the 70th best Outside Linebacker in the 2017 cycle, and the 152nd best player in the state of Florida.
