I know I said I wasn’t going to write, but I certainly have thoughts following Nebraska Football’s 34-31 overtime loss at the hands of Colorado. In what was a game that was fully up for grabs for Nebraska, they just could not come through.
Offensively, I noticed one particular issue today. The playcalling was certainly an issue. It felt like Nebraska relied on the run too much at times. For what it’s worth, Maurice Washington carried the ball 15 times for 77 yards. Averaging 5.1 yards a carry, he did a decent job. Martinez rushed the ball 19 times for 66 yards and he scored two touchdowns.
