The recruiting efforts of the Nebraska football team are rolling right along. On Wednesday afternoon, the Cornhuskers made an official offer to California athlete Cameron Williams.
The prospect, who projects most likely to be a defensive back in college had been a commit to the Oregon Ducks until very recently. It doesn’t seem as though the timing of Williams’ decommit and the Cornhuskers’ offer is a coincidence.
According to 247Sports, the athlete is a three-star prospect when it comes to the composite ratings. He’s also the 46th best athlete in the class.
There had been very few people who were surprised when he committed to the Oregon Ducks, though there were plenty who were a bit taken aback when he decided he was reopening his recruitment.
