Well, that didn’t take long. Just a few hours after Nebraska football offensive coordinator Troy Walters announced that he would be leaving the program, the program found somebody to replace him. Matt Lubick is going to be the wide receivers coach and co-offensive coordinator.
This is a good hire for Nebraska. Lubick last coached at Washington, where he was the team’s a co-offensive coordinator and receivers coach in 2017 and 18. He was also on the Oregon coaching staff from 2013-2016. He spent four years with head coach Scott Frost while the both of them were there.
