One Nebraska football player is getting closer to recognizing his dream of playing in the National Football League. Although he may not be your prototypical star player, he would certainly be an asset to a NFL team. Luke Gifford told media on Wednesday that he has received interest from a couple of teams.
Gifford represented Nebraska Football well and always played hard on the field. He recorded 62 tackles and 5.5 sacks in 12 games played. His best game of the season came on September 8 in the season opener against Colorado. In that contest, he recorded 11 tackles and a sack and a half as Nebraska Football fell short at the hands of the Buffaloes by a 33-28 score.
