Struggling to learn the playbook and subsequently buried on the depth chart, JUCO cornerback Will Jackson has decided to leave the Cornhusker football program.
Jackson has had a bit of a circuitous football career thus far. Originally a two star recruit signed with Kentucky, he was dismissed from their program due to a “violation of team rules”. Off he went to Mesa Community College in Arizona, where he had a serviceable 2 seasons. A late edition to the roster, Jackson signed with the Huskers this June. Defensive Coordinator Erik Chinander criticized his production during camp thus far, calling him a “slow blinker” - the kiss of death on a Frost-coached team.
