The Huskers added the transfer of former Iows Hawkeye offensive lineman Ezra Miller Wednesday afternoon. The 6'6 310 pound Miller originally announced his medical retirement in January but came out of retirement and entered the transfer portal.
First things first, I was immediately skeptical about bringing him in after hearing his medical history. However, Ezra clarified the situation on Twitter.
It seems like he is now doing better & can focus on football again.
Swcondly, this is HUGE for our offensive line. Ezra redshirted in 2019 and has 4 years to play 4. The former 247 top 100 prospect immediately becomes a top contender and possibly the leader in the competition at right tackle for the upcoming season.
