Nebraska Football: Husker target Amare Barno commits to Virginia Tech

You win some you lose some on the recruiting trail, and Monday the Nebraska Football Cornhuskers were unable to come away with the victory. Junior-college linebacker Amare Barno (Butler CC. Blythewood, S.C.) committed to Virginia Tech in an announcement he made on Twitter.

Per his profile from 247Sports.com, he was recruited to Virginia Tech by the program’s director of player personnel Adam Lechtenberg (who ironically has connections to the Cornhuskers) and Bud Foster, who serves in a multitude of positions for Virginia Tech most notably as the defensive coordinator. For Nebraska, running backs coach Ryan Held handled the recruitment.
