With the graduation of Nebraska football cornerback Lamar Jackson, that is undoubtedly a big loss for the program. However, the defensive backfield is still a source of strength for Nebraska. Fortunately, the program stocked up on defensive players over the past couple of recruiting classes. The gains made in the recruiting classes are undoubtedly a positive development. However, there will be three veterans in particular that should be able to help offset the loss of Jackson’s departure.
Seniors Marquel Dismuke and DiCaprio Bootle, along with junior Cam Taylor-Britt should be able to hold the secondary down.
