Earlier this week, the announcement that Nebraska was going to use black alternate uniforms for the upcoming season provide excitement for many. Now, Nebraska Football head coach Scott Frost wants the uniforms to be used on more than one occasion.
Frost has an idea in regards to how they could be further used. For starters, he said himself that there will be a home and away version of these uniforms. I like that idea a lot, as it fully embraces the new uniforms and it allows them to showcase different uniforms for the fan base. Although the Blackshirts are commonly just the defensive side of football, the black uniforms would look sharp.
