A former Nebraska football star was back on the field Saturday, this time in a much different role since the last time he put on the pads as a member of the football program in 2016. Tommy Armstrong Jr. made his debut for the Nebraska Danger.
A member of the IFL (Indoor Football League), the Danger made their debut on Saturday. Armstrong played a huge part in it, going 8-for-12 passing on the evening. He also showed a little bit of the running ability that made him so famous at Nebraska. He carried the ball three times for 23 yards and a touchdown.
