Yet another former Nebraska football star has found himself a new NFL home. Offensive lineman Spencer Long has moved from the Washington Redskins to the New York Jets.
The new signing was officially announced by the Jets on Sunday afternoon, ironically enough. The NFL free agent period has been an active one.
Former Cornhuskers have been among those who have been moving and shaking the last week. First there was Niles Paul, who moved from the Redskins to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
It appears the ‘Skins are having a bit of a rebuild as Long has now departed as well.
