With the mess that the shutdown of the AAF created, it is nice to see a former Nebraska football player among others landed on his feet quickly. Monday, the Oakland Raiders announced that wide receiver De’Mornay Pierson-El signed with the team.
Pierson-El had a rather transient career in the National Football League before going to the AAF. He spent some time with the Washington Redskins and also spent time with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian football league. His second chance came in the form of the AAF, while he was with the Salt Lake City Stallions.
