The Nebraska Athletic Department dropped great news on a Friday. They have come to an agreement with Defensive Coordinator Tony White on a restructured contract in which White will receive a $600,000 raise from his original amount of $1 million.
It also appears that Nebraska was able to work in some liquidated damages just in case Tony White wants to leave which was a great move by Trev Alberts, according to Mitch Sherman.
Per White's contract, he's required to pay in liquidated damages 100 percent of his remaining salary if he leaves Nebraska for a coaching position (other than head coach) at a Big Ten school, school in the process of joining the Big Ten or a program within 250 miles of Lincoln.
