Nebraska football fans have been anticipating the arrival of running back Dedrick Mills for quite some time. But finally, after an extra-long wait, Mills officially signed with the Huskers Monday night.
The announcement by the Nebraska football program was a welcome one for fans who have high expectations for Mills, who one ran for 771 yards as a freshman running back at Georgia Tech. That came back in 2016 when he also scored 12 touchdowns for the Yellow Jackets.
Last season, Mills played in junior college and has been committed to Nebraska but didn’t sign on early signing day.
