Darien Chase will no longer be part of the Nebraska football program. Friday, he announced he was transferring from the program via Twitter.
Chase did not see the field a ton last season. He played in four games, but still managed to preserve his redshirt. He had one catch for four yards on the year.
This decision was made to move closer to his family. The former four-star recruit will enter the transfer portal immediately. According to a report from the Omaha World-Herald, Chase said the decision was very difficult because it had nothing to do with the state of the football program.
