It’s been quite a while since Nebraska football fans could play as their favorite player, or pretend they were a great coach leading their favorite team into gridiron glory. The NCAA football video game series’ last release was in 2013, with NCAA Football ’14.
While that series is still dead, there is another one that is looking to take its place on consoles in 2020. IMackulate Vision Gaming has announced it will be launching Gridiron Champions sometime in 2020, though a day and month for the release is not yet known.
From everything I’ve seen so far about the game, it’s going to look and play quite a bit like the now long dead NCAA Football series from EA Sports.
