Although many of the top prospects did not end up choosing Nebraska Football, the Huskers did get one key recruit that was thought to be a big get for the program. 2019 offensive tackle Brant Banks (Westebury Christian School | Houston, TX) committed to the program on Wednesday. He made the announcement at his high school.
Banks is the No. 112 offensive tackle in his class and the No. 131 player in the state of Texas per the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
Banks had 20 offers to choose from in total, and Baylor in particular was thought to be another school very much in play for him.
