Yet another member of the Nebraska Football program is headed to the A-American bowl. This time, it is defensive end Blaise Gunnerson. On Tuesday, he accepted an invite to the event, which is held in January. It’s a pretty big deal, as it is televised by NBC and is a showcase for some of the best prospects in college football.
Gunnerson will join teammate Turner Corcoran at the event, making it two known representatives for Nebraska Football that will be there. Last year, the Cornhuskers will well-represented. They had three players participate in the game. Wandale Robinson, Noa Pola-Gates, and Bryce Benhart were all involved in the game.
