Nebraska has added a new offensive and defensive analyst as well as a new director of player development.
Bill Busch was once an assistant coach for Bill Callahan at Nebraska from 2004-2007. After that stint at Nebraska he has been all throughout the landscape of college football but most recently he spent three seasons at LSU as the safeties coach including on LSU’s 2019 National Championship team. Busch has a lot of Nebraska ties including the fact he grew up in Pender, NE.
Busch is well known as a great recruiter. Possibly he has some connections for this staff to take advantage of before he inevitably takes over as a full time assistant coach when one defensive coach inevitably leaves
