Since Nebraska football joined the Big Ten, playing Ohio State hasn’t really been kind to the Huskers. Yes, there was the come-from-behind win in 2011, but outside of that, it has been ugly.
Back in 2016, Nebraska football traveled to Columbus as the ninth-ranked team in the country, only to get shellacked 62-3. Last season, in Lincoln, the Huskers lost soundly again, 56-14.
Yet, that was the Mike Riley era. Now Scott Frost is in charge and even though Nebraska is 2-6, the Huskers are better than people think. If Adrian Martinez had finished the Colorado game and played against Troy, you can make a strong argument Nebraska wins both games.
