Nebraska football is going to have a new-look passing offense in 2019. With departures due to graduation, the wide receivers will look different as well. One player who is not going anywhere is wideout JD Spielman. The junior from Eden Prairie, Minnesota looks to build off a successful 2018 campaign where he began to establish himself as a viable option in the Nebraska passing attack. Recording impressive numbers as a sophomore, he successfully avoided the sophomore slump.
He will have to be a leader for a wide receiver unit that is lacking experience at the moment. That is a lot to ask of a player, but if there is a guy that can do it, it is him.
