During Mike Riley‘s weekly press conference on Monday, the head coach released the current injury information for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Officially, De’Mornay Pierson-El has been ruled out for the season, but the Huskers may be getting some players back for their game with the Michigan State Spartans.
According to Nebraska.247sports.com, quarterback Tommy Armstrong will be expected to return next weekend. Armstrong missed the Purdue loss with an injured foot. He was in a boot throughout all practices last week, so junior quarterback Ryker Fyfe got the start. Hopefully, Armstrong will be as close to 100 percent as possible.
