LINCOLN, Neb. -- Nebraska running back Maurice Washington could face charges in California for allegedly sending a video via text message to his former girlfriend of what she says was a sexual assault.
Washington, 19, could be charged under California's "revenge porn" law and face a felony charge of distribution of child pornography, according to NBC Bay Area.
He did not participate in the filming of the video and does not appear in the video. But because the girl was only 15 at the time the video was filmed in 2016, distribution of child pornography charges may apply.
