The past few weeks have been incredibly frustrating for the Nebraska basketball team and its fans. It wasn’t long ago that the NCAA tournament seemed like a sure thing and the Huskers were a trendy pick to do some damage.
After all, why not Nebraska basketball? The Huskers boasted a deep, experienced and talented starting five that featured one of the best scorers in the Big Ten in James Palmer, as well as others such as Isaiah Roby, Isaac Copeland, Glynn Watson Jr. and Thomas Allen.
While the Huskers depth was a little lacking, their starting five was supposed to carry the day and early in the season, it did.
