For much of the game against Iowa Sunday afternoon inside Pinnacle Bank Arena, it felt like the Nebraska basketball team was going to battle only to fall short.
After all, it’s what has happened so many other times this season and when the Huskers were trailing by nine points with 50 seconds left, there didn’t seem to be much hope.
However, a 3-pointer by Glynn Watson as well as two more from James Palmer changed all of that. Amir Harris made two free throws and after another triple from Watson, Nebraska basketball trailed Iowa only by one, 80-79.
