I hate reporting stories like this, however they are a fact of life. Senior guard Matej Kavas is going to miss the rest of the season for Nebraska basketball with a broken hand.
Kavas couldn’t quite find the magic that he had at Seattle in his first season with Nebraska. He averaged just 5.3 points and.1.2 rebounds per game. He made 33% of his three-point shots. He had been out of the lineup in three straight games, a decision made by Coach Hoiberg.
He was starting to see more playing time however, and that was certainly encouraging.
