There was no doubt that Nebraska Basketball forward Kevin Cross had a rough game in the season-opener on Wednesday. In 14 minutes of play, he went one-of-10, including one-of-six from behind the arc. Heading into Saturday’s game against Southern Utah, he undoubtedly aimed to have a better performance.
Cross did just that. In 36 minutes of play, he went eight-of-15 from the field. That equated to a 53.3 field goal percentage. In addition, he recorded five rebounds. In total, he had 19 points on the day. In defeat, it was encouraging that he performed so well.
