Coming off of their first win against Creighton since the 2010-11 season last weekend, the Nebraska Cornhuskers looked to beat the Oklahoma State Cowboys, and improve to 9-2 for the first time since the 2010-11 campaign. It was not a smooth start, as both teams started off rather sloppily, but Nebraska Basketball found their footing and came away with a 79-56 victory.
The first half was a defensive battle. Both teams did not want to give an inch, and both played well defensively. A usual catalyst for the Oklahoma State offense, Junior Cameron McGriff made the first basket of the game for the Cowboys.
