Nebraska basketball will have a tough contest on Tuesday as they are set to take on ninth-ranked Maryland. They are going to be without two starters to boot as Haanif Cheatham has a calf contusion and Dachon Burke has the flu. They are coming off a 96-72 loss to Iowa. In defeat, Jervay Green played well, scoring 18 points on eight-of-12 shooting. He also recorded seven rebounds and two assists in 26 minutes of play.
In the meantime, Maryland is coming off of a close 75-66 win against Iowa. Maryland’s stars did their part. Anthony Cowan Junior scored 20 points in 33 minutes of play.
